Our address is Sloley Hall, Sloley Road, Sloley, Norwich, NR12 8HA.

Norwich is about 10 miles away and is well known for having the best shopping area in the region as well as theatres, restaurants and a vibrant nightlife. It also has a magnificent cathedral and numerous museums as well of course as Norwich Castle.

We are close to the Norfolk broads (Wroxham is approximately 5 miles) where you can hire day boats to soak up the peace and quiet of the 125 miles of navigable inland waterways. There are bird watching opportunities and wildlife reserves close by which compliment those run by the RSPB, from Horsey Mere to Blakeney Point.

The sandy beaches along the coast are also within easy reach for fun in the sun or a dramatic walk on a winter’s day, a perfect way to gain an appetite from the many fabulous restaurants on our doorstep.

The quiet roads are ideal for cycling and walking, the ‘Weavers Way’ is only two miles away.

Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are both within easy driving distance as are other National Trust properties. For those who enjoy wandering beautiful gardens or are looking for ideas for their own gardens East Ruston Old Vicarage and Hoveton Hall gardens are only a short drive away.

For your evening meal there are a numerous excellent restaurants or pubs within 5 miles of the Hall, but they can be very popular so we suggest you book in advance. We are willing to assist with making reservations or organising local taxis.

DIRECTIONS

Leave Norwich on the B1150 towards Norwich, travel about 8 miles through Coltishall to Norwich.

Turn right opposite to North Walsham Rugby club, signposted ‘Byway to Solely’. Cross the staggered junction.

Turn right opposite the thatched farm buildings into our drive, see you the image of the drive entrance above. The drive is about a quarter of a mile long. Please proceed to the main entrance of the house where will direct you where to park and meet you.
